I don’t usually reblog songs (on purpose, that is) but I HAVE to for this one. I first heard “Chinatown” via Stereogum in late January. I wanted to put the song on my iPod but, because I am a bitrate fiend, the original 160 kb/s file just wasn’t good enough. Once a proper rip was made, this song was on repeat and not by force either. Everything about this song ties you in- it has a beautiful melody, the lyrics flow well and the song itself triggers feelings of nostalgia. And since my summer has come to an end, this is/was my “summer jam” of 2010.
